Privacy policy
Short version: we collect the minimum needed to reply to your enquiry or run your project, we don't sell it, and we don't drop tracking scripts on this site to watch you browse.
What we collect
When you submit the contact form on this site, we collect your name, business name (if given), email address, and whatever you write in the message field. That's used to reply about your project and for nothing else.
If you become a client, we also keep the project details, invoices, and correspondence needed to build and support your site, and any content or images you send us to use on it.
What we don't collect
This site does not run third-party analytics or advertising trackers, and does not use cookies to track you across visits. The only thing stored in your browser is a single local preference for light or dark mode, saved directly on your device (via localStorage) and never sent to us.
How we use it
Contact form and email details are used solely to respond to your enquiry, quote your project, and, if you become a client, to deliver and support the work. We don't add you to a mailing list or share your details with third parties for marketing.
Where it's stored
Enquiries sent through the contact form are delivered to our email inbox. Client project files and site source code are stored using standard hosting and email providers; we don't use your data for any purpose beyond the project you hired us for.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't turn into a project are generally deleted within a few months. Client records (invoices, correspondence, delivered files) are kept for as long as reasonably needed for business and tax record-keeping, typically five years, after which they're deleted on request.
Your rights
Under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), you can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to what we're legally required to keep (like invoices). Email webbiedebbie@terminalvelocityai.tech and we'll sort it out directly, not through a form or a ticket queue.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in any way that matters, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Given we're a small studio, that's unlikely to happen often.
